Out here at 19 Birj Vihar Vistarjagatpura in Jaipur, we run Pit Employment Services & Solutions Private Limited. It’s basically a place where we try to help people find work and help companies find staff who actually show up. The office is in a residential-feeling part of Jagatpura, so it’s not as loud as the city center. We get a lot of people coming in with their resumes, looking for something better for their families. Sometimes we can help them right away, and other times it takes a bit of searching through our contacts. It’s a lot of talking to people and understanding what they’re actually looking for in a job. We aren't a massive agency with branches everywhere, just this one spot in Jaipur. My desk is usually covered in papers and sticky notes because there's always a lot to keep track of. Hiring can be a real headache for businesses, so they come to us to handle the messy parts of the process. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just try to get people placed where they fit best. It’s satisfying when someone calls back to say they like their new job and things are going well. On the flip side, it can be tough when things don't work out as planned. We just do our best with what we have. The neighborhood is growing fast, so there's always something new happening around Birj Vihar. We've been here for a bit now and know the area pretty well.
