Paper Wasp

We are located in a very old part of Jaipur, right at Bhatt Rajaji Ki Haveli. It’s on Hawa Mahal Road, specifically in the Hawa Mahal Bazar. Being right opposite the Hawa Mahal is pretty amazing, though the area is incredibly crowded with tourists and vendors all the time. Our space feels like it has a lot of history because of the building. It’s not like a modern office building at all. The walls are thick and the rooms have a different kind of feel to them. We work with paper and other things here. You can usually hear the noise from the street coming through the windows—the rickshaws, the people talking, and the general buzz of the market. We don’t have much in the way of fancy furniture. We just have what we need to get the work done. It gets quite busy during the day, so we try to get most of our focused work done in the early morning before the bazar really wakes up. Managing a business in this part of town takes some patience because of the traffic and the narrow streets. But we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. There is a lot of character here. We just go about our business, making things and keeping things moving. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but it works for us. We've been here a while and know most of the neighbors now.
