Pankaj Properties & General Store

It is a bit of an unusual mix having a property business and a general store in the same spot here on 80 Feet Road. We are located at D-43 in Hira Pura, right where the neighborhood feels like it is growing every single day. Most mornings start with me pulling up the metal shutters and setting out the jars of snacks and biscuits. Then someone might come in asking about a flat for rent or a small plot nearby in Jagdamba Nagar or Vikas Nagar. It keeps things interesting for sure. One minute I am weighing out sugar for a neighbor, and the next I am looking at some papers for a shop lease. My desk is usually covered in a mix of notebooks and maybe a stray packet of spices. The road outside is always loud with traffic, being a main road and all. People stop their bikes quickly to grab a cold drink or some tobacco before zooming off again. We do not have a fancy office setup with air conditioning. It is just us sitting here among the daily groceries. Sometimes my friends stop by and we drink some tea while talking about how much Jaipur has changed over the years. This part of town used to be so quiet, but now it is all buildings and cars. We try to keep the store stocked with whatever the local families need so they do not have to drive.
