Oshi Gems & Jewelry

Oshi Gems & Jewelry is located in the Krishna Puri area of Rakhdi, right here in Jaipur. We are at A-10, near the Asha Bal Nikaten School on Hatwara Road. Being in Sodala means we are right in the heart of things. Jaipur is a city known for stones and jewelry, and we are just one small part of that long history. Our shop is simple. We have our counters where we show what we have, and a small area in the back where we do some of the finer work. You can hear the school bells ringing and the kids shouting during their breaks, which gives the place a nice energy. We don't go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. Most of our people come to us because they’ve seen our work or live in the neighborhood. It’s often dusty on Hatwara Road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases. We work with different types of gems and metals, depending on what we can get our hands on. It’s a hands-on job that requires a lot of patience and steady fingers. Sometimes we sit for hours under a bright lamp just looking at small details. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a good trade. We’ve been at this location for years and have seen many families grow up around us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the jewelry.
