Omprakash Tour & Travels

Omprakash Tour & Travels is actually based right out of House Number 32 in Ayodhya Colony. That is in the Hira Pura area, just off the main Ajmer Road. Since we operate from a house, it’s a bit different than a regular shop. We have a small room set aside for the office work and the cars are usually parked right outside in the driveway or on the street. It’s a family-run thing and we’ve been here for quite some time. We know all the neighbors and they often call us when they need a ride somewhere. We handle everything from local taxi runs to longer journeys out of the city. We don't have any fancy marketing people. It’s just us answering the phone and keeping track of the bookings in a big notebook. Sometimes the kids are playing in the street while we are trying to talk to a customer, but that’s just how it is living and working in the same place. We know the roads around Jaipur really well, especially the shortcuts to the highway. If you need to go somewhere early in the morning, we are usually up and ready anyway. It’s a very practical way to run a business and we don’t try to make it sound like something it’s not. We just provide a way for people to get where they are going.
