Our place is right on Ajmer Road in Jaipur, specifically in the Heerapura area inside Satya Colony. If you have ever driven down that way, you know how busy that road gets with all the trucks and buses headed towards the highway. The office is located in a spot that makes it easy for the drivers to find us, though the dust from the road is something we have to deal with every day. We handle cargo services and it is the kind of job that keeps you on your toes from sunrise to sunset. The heat in the summer can be pretty intense here in Rajasthan, so we have a few old coolers running that make a lot of noise but keep the air moving. We spend a lot of time checking manifests and making sure the loads are balanced on the trucks. It is not a glamorous job by any means. There are always stacks of paper on the desks and the phone never really stops ringing. Sometimes we have to stay late into the evening if a shipment is running behind schedule. We have been part of the Satya Colony community for a good while and we know most of the other business owners on the block. We just try to get the work done without any extra drama. It is a simple, honest way to make a living and we are glad to be right where we are.
