Okay Diagnostic Research Center

Ramganj Bazar is a busy place, and Okay Diagnostic Research Center is right in the middle of it near Handipura and Chardarwaza. We open up early most days because people are already waiting outside for their tests. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms for testing and some desks where we keep the records. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we just wait it out or use the generator to keep things running. Most of our time is spent looking at samples or filling out forms for the people who come in from the neighborhood. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic and the shops nearby, but you get used to it after a while. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the equipment works fine and that is what matters most to us. We have a small staff here, just a couple of us doing the tests and one person at the front desk. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are because we have been at this 4674 address for a long time. It’s a practical setup, nothing like those fancy hospitals you see in the bigger cities. We just try to get the results out as fast as we can so folks aren't waiting around all day. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, and it takes us a bit longer to find things, but we always manage. It’s just regular work in a regular part of town.
