Nirmalas

Nirmalas is located right on the main Gandhi Path Road, specifically at 3/421 in the Chitrakoot Scheme. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers all know us by name. The space itself isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to keep things running day to day. We spend a lot of time organizing the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so sweeping is a constant job. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Jaipur, just a reliable spot for the people who live nearby in Chitrakoot. Most of our day is spent talking to folks who walk in or handling the deliveries that show up out front. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we check through our lists. We started this because we wanted a place of our own in this part of town. It isn't always easy keeping up with everything, but we manage. There's a lot of paperwork that piles up on the corner desk, which we try to sort out before heading home in the evening. It’s just a normal way to earn a living, and we like being part of the local community here.
