Nhpc Ltd.

Up in Karian, Chamba, we run the Finance Wing for Nhpc Ltd. from the CPS-II site. Being in Himachal Pradesh means our office has a very different feel than those in the big cities. It’s a lot quieter out here, though the office itself stays busy. We handle all the financial matters, so our desks are usually covered in ledger books and receipts. It’s a very practical workspace where the focus is on the numbers and the details. We don't have any corporate fluff or fancy mission statements. We just show up every day and make sure the accounts are in order. The staff here are mostly local folks who understand the rhythm of life in the Chamba district. Sometimes the mountain weather makes the commute interesting, but the work never stops. It’s an honest, no-nonsense environment. We have our tea, we talk about the tasks at hand, and we get through the paperwork. If you come by CPS-II, you’ll find us in the Finance Wing just doing our jobs. There’s nothing flashy about it, but it’s the work that keeps the company moving forward. We stay grounded in our daily routines. It’s just a group of people working hard in a beautiful part of the country. We try to be helpful when people have questions about the accounts, but mostly we are just busy with the books.
