We operate out of Flat G 3 at Park Avenue Apartment. It’s located on Plot 29 in Aditya Vihar, right off Gandhi Path. It is a bit different running a trade business from an apartment complex, but it works for us. We have one room set up with computers and a printer for all the trade documents. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice when we have to focus on the numbers. We deal with a lot of different suppliers across India. It involves a lot of coordinating and making sure everyone is on the same page. Sometimes the elevator in the building is out of service, so we have to carry boxes up and down the stairs. It’s a good workout, I guess. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice to get some air in. Gandhi Path is a busy area with lots of shops and new buildings going up all the time. Our team is small, just a couple of us who handle everything from the orders to the shipping labels. We don't have a big sign outside, just our name on the door. It’s a practical way to run things without having too much overhead. We usually wrap up around six and head home. It’s a steady rhythm we’ve got going here in Jaipur. We try to keep the desk clean but papers always seem to pile up anyway.
