Venus Electronics

Venus Electronics is tucked away in B-6 over at the Radio Market in Nehru Bazar. If you know the area, you know it is a bit of a maze with all the shops selling wires and gadgets. We have been in this same spot for quite some time now. Our shop is filled with all sorts of electronic bits, from spare parts to small home appliances that people need fixed or replaced. It is usually quite cramped inside because we have boxes stacked up everywhere. There is always the sound of someone testing a speaker or soldering something in the back. We do not have a big fancy showroom. It is just counters and shelves full of stock. Most of our day is spent talking to customers who are looking for a specific cable or a part for their old radio that nobody else seems to carry anymore. Nehru Bazar is always loud and busy, so we get a lot of walk-in traffic. Sometimes we do not have exactly what someone wants right away, so we have to order it in. It takes a few days, but people around here do not seem to mind the wait. We just try to keep things running. It is a family-run kind of thing. My uncle started it and now we just keep the lights on and keep selling what people ask for. It is dusty and the air conditioning is old, but it is home for us in the market.
