The office is over in Pratap Nagar, right in Sector 3. It’s a busy part of Jaipur, especially with all the traffic coming in from the Sanganer side. We’ve been at 32/472 for a while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office where we list jobs and look at resumes all day. The heat in Rajasthan can be a real pain during the summer, so we keep the fans going and drink a lot of chai to stay alert. People walk in looking for all kinds of work. Some want to be drivers, others are looking for IT jobs or office work. We try to keep track of it all on our computers. It gets pretty loud outside with the street noise and horns, but you get used to it after a week. We are just a small team of local people. Most of us take the bus or ride our scooters to get here every morning. We aren't some big corporate headquarters with glass walls and fancy carpets. It’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of paper everywhere. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait around, which is frustrating when people are waiting for updates on their applications. We see a lot of young kids fresh out of college hoping for their first paycheck. It reminds you of when you started out yourself. We just do the daily work of matching people with whatever openings we find. It’s steady work.
