Nature Friends

Nature Friends is located at B-24 on Mandir Marg. Subhash Nagar is a busy area, but our street is usually manageable. We have been working out of this space for a good while. We deal with environmental products and some gardening supplies. It started because a few of us really liked plants and it just grew into a business. Our shop is a bit small, and we often have bags of soil or pots stacked up near the entrance. It is not very tidy, but it shows we are working. We spend a lot of time talking to local people about what grows best in this soil. We do not use any high-tech systems; we still write things down in a ledger most of the time. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door, so we have to move the stock around. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to provide what people in the neighborhood need for their gardens. It is a hands-on job. Your hands get dirty and your back gets tired, but it is satisfying at the end of the day. We know most of our customers by their first names. They stop by Mandir Marg to see what is new or just to ask for a bit of advice on their shrubs. We keep things pretty honest and plain around here because that is what our customers like.
