National Hospital

National Hospital is located at 72/2 Shipra Path in the Mansarovar area. This part of Mansarovar is usually full of life, especially in the evenings when people are out and about. Our building stands right there on the path, and it has been part of the neighborhood for quite some time. The entrance is right off the main road, so you see a lot of people coming and going at all hours. Inside, the tiles are a bit worn from all the walking, and the paint is just a standard off-white color. We have a few benches in the waiting area that have seen better days, but they serve the purpose. The doctors and nurses are always moving from one room to another, and the sound of the paging system is something you just get used to. It can get a bit crowded on Monday mornings, which is usually our busiest time of the week. We keep the registration desk right at the front so people don't have to wander around looking for help. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just some basic signs pointing to the different wings. The air smells like cleaning supplies most of the time, which is probably a good thing for a hospital. It’s a practical place, and we just focus on getting through the patient list every day without too much fuss. We’ve been at this Shipra Path spot for years and everyone just knows us.
