N.P. Jain Jewellers

We are located at 237 Johari Bazar. Anyone who knows this market knows it is the heart of the jewelry trade. N.P. Jain Jewellers has been part of this street for quite some time. It’s a very busy place, especially during the wedding season when the whole bazar is packed with people looking for the right pieces. Our shop is old-fashioned. We don’t have those bright neon signs or modern interiors. We prefer the way things have always been. We sit on the floor cushions sometimes to show the stones and ornaments to customers. It feels more personal that way. The street outside is always noisy with tourists and local shoppers. We see a lot of different people every day. Some are looking for something very specific, and others just want to look around. We handle a lot of traditional designs. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized. Sometimes we lose track of time because there’s so much to do. We don’t do much fancy talk. If you like a piece, you buy it. If you want something changed, we see if we can do it. Most of our day is just talking to people and showing them what we’ve got in the safes. It’s a good life here in the bazar. We’ve seen many shops come and go, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done.
