M/S Akruti City Ltd operates from E-14 in the Dhananjay Flats. This is right in the Naranpura area of Ahmedabad. If you know the city, you probably know where Saint Kabir School is. We are directly opposite to that. Being near a school means it gets quite noisy in the mornings and mid-afternoons when the kids are coming and going. Behind us is Loyola Hall which is another local landmark people use to find their way here. The office is inside a residential-style block so it feels more like a home than a big corporate building. We have been in this spot for some time now and like the neighborhood. Ahmedabad gets really hot in the middle of the year so we are always looking forward to the cooler evenings. Most of our day is spent handling different projects and sorting out files at our desks. Sometimes we go out for tea at the small stalls nearby. It is a straightforward place to work and we don’t have much in the way of big signs or fancy decorations. Just the desks and the computers and the usual office supplies you would expect. We find that being in a familiar part of Naranpura makes it easier for people to drop by when they need to talk about something. It is just us here doing our daily jobs and keeping things moving along as best as we can.
