Mittal Children Hospital

If you head down Girdhar Marg in Malviya Nagar, you’ll see Mittal Children Hospital at E-61. It’s a busy spot, mostly because kids are always getting into something or catching a cold. The walls inside are painted with some bright colors to try and make it look less scary for the little ones, but you can tell the paint is peeling in a few corners. It gets pretty noisy with babies crying and parents trying to keep them quiet while waiting for their turn. We’ve been in Malviya Nagar for a good while, and we see a lot of the same families as their kids grow up. The doctors here are usually tired but they stay focused on the work. We don't have a fancy coffee shop or a big lobby. It’s just a place with exam rooms and some beds for when a child needs to stay overnight. The street outside is always packed with cars, so finding a spot can be a bit of a headache for the parents. We just do our best to help the kids get better so they can go back home. It’s not a polished corporate place. It’s just a local hospital where the staff works hard and the kids are the main priority. Sometimes we run out of the good stickers to give out, which is always a minor tragedy for the toddlers who expect one after their checkup.
