Mertiya Trade Corporation

Mertiya Trade Corporation is based in the Jda Complex in Vaishali Nagar. It’s a pretty standard commercial building with a lot of different offices and small shops all mixed together. We have our space here where we handle all the trading business. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for the desks and the files we need to keep track of everything. Vaishali Nagar is a busy area, so there is always something happening outside the windows or in the hallways. We spend a lot of our time on the computer or talking to suppliers on the phone. The complex has a lot of stairs and hallways that all look the same, but we are easy to find once you know which floor we are on. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a few notes pinned up for reminders. Sometimes the elevator in the Jda Complex acts up, so we end up taking the stairs several times a day. It keeps us moving, I guess. We aren't trying to be some big global firm, we just do our trading work and try to keep our customers happy. Most of the people who come by are regulars who have been working with us for a while. We have a quick tea break in the afternoon when the sun starts to go down. It’s a simple routine that we follow. We show up, deal with the day’s trades, and lock up in the evening. It’s just a regular office in a regular complex, nothing more.
