Medatwal & Sons is located above Shop No. 1 in Katla Purohit Ka Katla, right in the middle of Johari Bazar. To get to us, you have to navigate through the crowds of the market and head upstairs. It is a very busy part of town, and there is always noise coming up from the street. Our space is small and a bit crowded with boxes and old ledgers. My sons and I run the place ourselves. We have been here for a lot of years, and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories if they could talk. We don't have air conditioning, so we just keep the windows open and use a couple of old fans when it gets hot. Most of our visitors are people we have known for decades. We sit around the desk, have some chai, and talk about the trade. It is a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us. Johari Bazar is the heart of the city, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We don't have a fancy showroom or a website to show off what we do. If someone needs us, they know where to find the stairs in Katla Purohit Ka Katla. We just keep doing what our family has done for generations, day after day, without making any fuss about it. We are just regular people doing business.
