Maya Eye And Dental Hospital

We are over at 94/200 Vijay Path in Agarwal Farm, which is a part of the Mansarover area here in Jaipur. It is a bit of a long address to say out loud, but most of the locals just know us as the spot near the farm. Maya Eye And Dental Hospital isn’t one of those huge corporate buildings you see in the city center. It is a practical space where we take care of both eyes and teeth. It might seem a bit funny to have both in one place, but it has worked for us for years. The Jaipur sun gets really bright on Vijay Path during the middle of the afternoon, so we usually keep the heavy blinds pulled down to keep the rooms from getting too hot. I spend my mornings checking people's vision and my afternoons looking at teeth, though sometimes it’s the other way around. The waiting area has chairs that have definitely seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a short wait. We try our best to keep the instruments clean and the records in order, but the paperwork always seems to pile up on the desk near the window. Being in Mansarover means we see the same families year after year. You watch a kid grow up and then suddenly they are bringing their own children in for an eye exam. It makes the day go by a lot faster when you can have a real conversation with someone.
