Maruti Sales

Maruti Sales is based at 29, Banasthali Marg. It’s a street with a lot of movement and different kinds of people passing through at all hours. Our shop is pretty simple inside. We have a counter where we talk to everyone who comes in through the door. The shelves behind us are filled with all sorts of items we sell. We try to keep things labeled, but sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we are in a huge hurry. The floor is old tile and it has seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. Banasthali Marg is a decent place to be located for a business like ours. There’s a tea stall nearby that we visit quite often when we need a break. We don't use a lot of fancy technology here. A lot of our records are still kept in big ledgers with blue covers. It feels more reliable that way to us. The ceiling fan wobbles a little when it’s on the highest setting, but it works well enough to keep us cool. We usually have the radio playing in the background, mostly just for some background noise. People from the neighborhood stop by to chat even if they aren't buying anything that day. It makes the day go by much faster. We close up when the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It’s a routine we have followed for a long time now. We just focus on selling what we have and being fair with the people who walk through the door.
