Maruti International

We are located over at F-253 A on Road No. 12 in the Vki Area. It’s an industrial spot, so there are always trucks and tempos moving back and forth all day. Maruti International has been operating out of this warehouse for a good while. It gets pretty loud with all the factories around us, but that’s just how it is in VKI. We usually start our day early, around nine, checking what arrived overnight. The space is filled with heavy slabs and crates. It isn't the cleanest place because of all the stone work, but we try to keep the aisles clear so people can walk through. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to drivers who are lost looking for this specific road. It can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the industrial estate layout. We don't really do much advertising; people just find us by word of mouth or because they saw our gate. There’s a small office in the corner where we keep the paperwork, but I prefer being out where the material is. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets a bit much in the summer, so we keep a couple of old fans running. It is straightforward work. We load the trucks, we unload them, and we make sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. It’s a busy life but it keeps us moving.
