You can find our office, Srijan Interior Consultant, at No. 23/155 Swarn Path in Mansarovar. It is more of a studio than a typical shop. We spend most of our time here sitting around a big table covered in sketches, fabric samples, and small tiles. We are the people you talk to when you aren't sure what color to paint your walls or how to fit a new cupboard into a small room. It’s not always about making things look like they are in a magazine; it's more about making them work for the people living there. We often have to go out and visit sites, so the office might be empty for a few hours in the middle of the day. When we are here, we are usually on the phone with carpenters or painters trying to figure out why a delivery is late. The shelves are cluttered with catalogs that we’ve had for years. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with pencils and rulers scattered everywhere, but that is just how we work. We like the Mansarovar area because it’s easy for people to find us on Swarn Path. We don't use any fancy computer programs for everything; sometimes a quick hand drawing on a piece of paper explains the idea better. We just try to give practical advice and help people get their homes sorted out without making it too complicated.
