You can find us at Durga Niwas on Shipra Path, which is right in the middle of Mansarovar. It’s an old house that we ended up turning into a workspace. It feels more like a home than a real office most of the time. We have desks set up in the different rooms and the kitchen is usually where we all hang out to eat lunch together. Arjaa India has been running out of this building for a few years now. Mansarovar is such a big area that it took people a little while to find us when we first started. Now the delivery drivers know exactly where No. 52/31 is and they don't have to call for directions anymore. We do a lot of our work on computers and phones, trying to coordinate all the different parts of the business. It gets a bit cramped in here when we have a lot of stock arriving at once. Boxes get piled up in the hallway and you have to sidestep around them to get into the back room. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the front door goes to see who it is. Sometimes it’s just the mailman. We keep things pretty simple. There is no dress code here, just people working in their normal clothes. We focus on getting the orders out and making sure the numbers are right at the end of every week.
