Manipal Hospital

Out here on Sikar Road, things move at their own pace. This part of the city is always growing, and you can see the changes every time you look out the window. Our spot here at Manipal Hospital isn't hard to find if you’re driving along the main stretch. It’s a pretty functional building, nothing too flashy on the outside, but it does what it’s supposed to do. We’ve got a lot of staff who have been here since the doors first opened. They know the regulars and how the local shops around us change every few months. The waiting area usually has a news channel playing or someone just sitting quietly. It’s not the quietest place because of the road noise outside, but you get used to it after a shift or two. We don’t have a lot of time for fancy speeches or mission statements. Mostly, we’re just busy checking charts, making sure the supplies are stocked, and helping folks find their way to the right floor. The parking lot can be a bit of a puzzle during the middle of the day, so most of us suggest coming a bit early if you're driving. It’s just a regular part of the community here on Sikar Road. We see all kinds of people, from neighbors we know by name to folks just passing through. It’s a job that keeps us on our feet all day long and doesn't leave much room for anything else but the work.
