Malpani Hospital

We are situated out on Road No 1 in the V K I Area. This part of town is mostly industrial, so there are a lot of trucks and big buildings around us. It is a bit different from a regular residential neighborhood. Our hospital is a solid structure that fits right into the surroundings. The road outside is wide to accommodate all the heavy traffic. We spend our days inside the various rooms and wards. The floors are polished stone and we spend a good amount of time keeping them that way. Since we are in the V K I Area, we see a lot of people who work in the nearby factories and offices. The air can be a bit heavy sometimes with all the industry nearby. We have a small area where we take our breaks and look out at the activity on Road No 1. It’s a very busy place during the week. The weekends are a lot quieter when the factories close down. Inside, the lights are bright and the corridors are wide. We don't have many plants or pictures, just the stuff we need for the work. Most of us have been working here long enough that we know every corner of the building. It’s a functional place where we just get on with the tasks at hand. Nothing fancy, just a hospital in an industrial zone that keeps the same schedule every week.
