Mahir

Our shop, Mahir, is located at Shop No. 203 in the Ramganj area. Specifically, we are right in Ramganj Bazar, not far from Galta Gate. It’s a very traditional part of town and the streets are always full of life. You can hear the sounds of the market from the moment we open the shutters in the morning. Ramganj Bazar is the kind of place where everyone knows their neighbors. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. The shop itself is a bit cramped if more than a few people come in at once, but it serves its purpose well. We keep our supplies stacked up on the shelves and try to keep everything in order, though it doesn’t always stay that way during a busy rush. Being near Galta Gate makes it easy for people to find us if they know the landmarks. We don’t do a lot of fancy advertising. Most of our days are spent talking to customers and checking on our stock. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes things slow down, but usually, there’s always something to do. It’s a simple business. We open up, we help the people who come in, and we close when the sun goes down. It's a routine that works for us and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the bazaar after all these years of being here.
