Mahaveer Salasar Batteries

We are out in Bagaru at Bs-6. Our shop is all about batteries for cars, bikes, and other equipment. It’s a straightforward business and we have been here for some time now. Bagaru is a bit away from the main city rush, but we stay busy enough with the locals and the transport that passes through. The shop is full of battery stacks and tools for testing them. It can get a bit dusty and hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans running and get on with the work. We aren't part of any big national chain. It is just a local shop run by regular people. When someone’s vehicle won't start, they usually end up here. We spend a lot of time checking water levels and charging up old batteries to see if they still have some life in them. We don't use any complicated sales pitches. If a battery is dead, we tell you it’s dead. We try to be honest about what people actually need. It’s heavy work, moving those lead blocks around all day. We’ve gotten used to the smell of acid and the grease on our hands. The location at Bs-6 is easy for truck drivers to pull over. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know where we are when they have a problem with their power. It’s a simple, practical life here in Bagaru and we like it that way.
