Mahatma Gandhi Hospital

We’ve been here at No. 81 Brighu Nagar for a while now. Most mornings start with the sun hitting the front glass and the noise from Ajmer Road getting louder near the DCM area. It isn't a fancy place, just a building where we try to get things done every day. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird humming sound, and the receptionist, Anita, usually has her tea sitting on the corner of the desk while she answers the phone. People come in looking for us because we’re tucked away a bit, but once they find the spot near the turn, they realize it’s just a normal workplace. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint maybe next year, but for now, they hold up the shelves just fine. We have some old chairs in the waiting area that aren't the most stylish things you’ve ever seen, but they are sturdy enough. On Tuesdays, the traffic is usually a mess because of the local market, so we all end up staying a bit late just to avoid the crawl back home. It's just how life goes here. We don't have a big corporate lobby with marble floors or anything like that. Just some desks, a lot of paperwork, and people who have worked together long enough to know how each other takes their coffee. It feels like home to most of us, even with the dust from the road.
