Our office is tucked away at 158 Laxman Colony in the Shyam Nagar area of Jaipur. It is a pretty normal setup here, nothing too flashy. We spend most of our days dealing with logistics and making sure shipments are where they need to be. The phone rings a lot, usually people asking where their containers are or how long the transport will take. It gets hot in Jaipur, so the fans are always going while we look at spreadsheets. Sometimes the traffic outside on the main roads makes things a bit slow, but we manage. We handle a lot of the local coordination for Maersk right from this spot. It is mostly just about keeping track of paperwork and talking to drivers. We have been in this neighborhood for a while now and most of the locals know where to find us. It is not always exciting work, but it is steady. We just try to get things done without making mistakes. Shipping can be complicated with all the different rules, but we just take it one day at a time.
