Madanlal Malpani & Company has been a fixture on Deenanath Street in Chandpole Bazar for quite some time. If you’ve ever walked through Chandpole Bazar, you know how narrow and winding the streets can be. Our place is right in the thick of it. It’s an old building, and we’ve kept it mostly the way it was when we started. We deal with various goods that people in the market need. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls. Instead, we have wooden desks, old fans, and shelves that have seen better days. We know our neighbors on Deenanath Street well, and we often help each other out when things get busy. The atmosphere here is very traditional. We write down most things by hand and keep track of our regulars who have been coming to us for decades. Sometimes the cows wander down the street and slow things down, or the festive crowds make it impossible to move, but that’s just life in this part of town. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. People know where we are and what we do because we’ve been here so long. It’s just about being reliable and showing up every morning to open the shutters. We take pride in just being a steady part of the local economy and keeping our small corner of the bazar running.
