Our little office is over in Bharatpur, specifically in the Gopal Garh area near Jaghina Gate. We’re working out of a space managed by Jitendra Singh, who is well known around here. If you know where Kashiram Verma’s place is, then you’ve basically found us. It’s a very local Rajasthan setup. The streets around Jaghina Gate are always full of life, with people moving about and shops opening early. We get to work and start sorting through the day's tasks, which usually involves a lot of coordinating for the JV. It’s not a massive corporate headquarters with elevators and glass walls. It’s more of a ground-floor operation where things are a bit cluttered but we know where everything is. We have a small team, and we all wear many hats. One minute you’re filing a report, and the next you’re fixing a printer or talking to a delivery guy. We don’t have a polished manual for how to do things; we just use our common sense and get it done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that’s not really a priority right now. We’re more focused on keeping the projects on track. It’s honest work in a busy part of town. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby trees cause a bit of a distraction, but that’s just part of being in Bharatpur. We like it here just fine, doing things our own way.
