Laxmi Udyog

Working out here at VKIA Road Number 14, specifically at E 410, means we are right in the heart of the industrial side of things. Laxmi Udyog is basically an industrial unit, so it’s not the kind of place you’d come for a casual visit. It is usually quite loud with the sound of machines and people moving things around. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool because once the sun hits the metal roof, it gets warm fast. Our day involves a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the production. We don't have any flashy signs or a sales floor. It's just the factory floor and a small area where we keep the records. Most of our neighbors are also doing similar industrial work, so there is a constant flow of trucks and delivery vans on Road Number 14. We have been in this spot for years and the walls definitely show it. There is grease and dust, which is just part of the job when you’re doing this kind of work. We aren't trying to be anything other than a solid workshop. We get the orders, we do the manufacturing, and we send them out. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a motor, but that’s just how it goes here.
