Laxmi Bearing Center

Laxmi Bearing Center is a small shop located at Shop No. 49 in Shiv Vihar. We are right opposite Road No. 5 in the V.K.I. Area. Unlike the big factories around us, we are more of a retail and supply spot. We spend our days surrounded by boxes and shelves full of bearings of all different sizes. It’s a lot of searching through catalogs and checking part numbers to make sure we give people exactly what they need for their machines. The shop can get pretty cramped with all the inventory we try to keep on hand. People from the nearby industrial units often drop in when something on their line breaks down and they need a replacement fast. We know a lot of the local mechanics and maintenance guys by name since they come in so often. The V.K.I. area is always humming with activity, and being near Road 5 keeps us right in the middle of it. We don't have a computer system that does everything; a lot of it is still recorded in handwritten ledgers. It might seem old-fashioned to some, but it works for us. We try to keep things simple and just help out the folks who walk through the door. Sometimes we have to order things in if it’s a rare size, which means a bit of waiting. We just do our best to keep the shelves stocked.
