Laveri Leathers

Our little shop is inside Mangalam Metropolis, specifically at office number 230. It’s on Ajmer Road, not far from the old Purani Chungi Nakka. If you know that area, you know it gets quite a bit of traffic. Laveri Leathers is where we spend our days surrounded by the smell of tanned hides. It’s a strong scent, but we’ve grown to like it over time. We don't have a massive showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a workspace where we keep our stock and talk to people who want something made. Most of our work involves checking the quality of the leather and making sure there aren't too many marks on it. We are up on the second floor, so it’s a bit quieter than the street downstairs. We aren't part of some big corporation. It’s just a small business trying to make a living in the city. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It keeps us moving. We’ve been at this Ajmer Road location for a while now and the neighbors are alright. We don't do a lot of advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just stumbling upon the office while they are in the building. We just focus on the leather and try to keep the costs reasonable for everyone who comes in. It is just honest work with leather every day and we plan to stay right here.
