In Sikar, we are located in Ward No.5, which is right near the Shiv Mandir in Guhala. Being near a temple means we hear the bells every morning and evening, which is quite nice actually. This part of Rajasthan is very traditional and the Neemkathana district is a busy place with lots of small businesses and shops. Our office is a unit of Lafarge and we focus on the gypsum side of things. The building is simple, just like everything else around here. We don't have fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets, just what we need to get the work done. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but we keep the doors shut to keep the office clean. Most of the people working here are from the local area, so we all speak the same way and understand how things move in Sikar. We spend a lot of time talking to the drivers and making sure the loads are going where they should be. It is a very hands-on job. There isn't much to do for fun around here, so we usually just sit together and have tea during the lunch break. We know most of the people who pass by the temple every day. It feels like a small community where everyone is just doing their part to keep things moving along. It is a practical office for a practical job, and we are happy being part of the neighborhood.
