Our little spot is at 54/13, Vt Toad in Mansarovar. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve been here long enough that most people know where to find us if their lift goes out. It's mostly just regular maintenance work and answering service calls when things break down. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep the logs and take the phone calls. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside on Vt Toad but we manage fine. We have a small crew that handles the local area. Usually, one of us is out in the field while someone else stays back to handle the paperwork. Elevators are funny things, they work fine for years then suddenly decide to get stuck on the fourth floor. That's when we have to go out and figure out if it's a sensor issue or just old parts wearing down. We carry the basic tools and try to fix things on the spot if we can. If it's something bigger, we have to order it in. It’s a practical job, not much to it other than showing up and doing the repairs. We don't spend much time on fancy talk, we just look at the machine and get it moving again. It’s how we’ve always done it here in Mansarovar. It keeps us busy enough through the week, even when the weather gets a bit rough or the parts delivery is slow.
