Kodos Alloys is located near the railway crossing in Jhotwara. Being so close to the tracks means we hear the trains going by all day long, which is just something you get used to after a week or two. We work with alloys and different kinds of metal mixtures. It’s a bit of a specialized field, but for us, it’s just the daily routine. The facility is practical and built for handling heavy materials. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a lobby with plants. It’s a place for work. Jhotwara is a busy area, and the railway crossing can sometimes cause a bit of a backup with traffic, but it doesn't stop us from getting things done. We’ve got a small group of people who have been with the company for a while now. We just focus on the melting and the mixing and making sure the quality is what it needs to be. There’s a lot of heat and noise involved in what we do, so it’s not for everyone. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising or marketing ourselves. Most people who need what we make already know where we are tucked away by the tracks. We just keep the furnace going and make sure the orders are ready when they need to be. It’s a tough, sweaty job, but it’s what we know and we've been at it for years. Some days the dust is worse than others.
