Vinayak Textiles

You’ll find Vinayak Textiles at 626 Marwa House, right in the heart of Kishanpole Bazar at the Chowk Bordi Ka Rasta. It’s a very old and crowded part of the city, but it has a lot of character. We deal in all sorts of fabrics and cloths. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with rolls of material. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where everything is. We spend our days measuring out meters of fabric and talking to customers who come in looking for something specific for a dress or a suit. There’s always a lot of noise from the market outside—scooters honking and people shouting—but we’ve grown to love it. We aren't a fancy boutique with air conditioning and soft music. We’re a traditional textile shop where you can feel the fabric and talk to us about what you’re making. Our family has been involved in this for a long time. We just try to keep good stock and treat people fairly. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, especially when the bazaar gets really packed, but it’s what we know. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just sell cloth at a price that makes sense. Come by if you're in the bazar; we're usually there from morning until late evening.
