Kewai Overseas

Kewai Overseas is situated at C-161, Bahubali Path, which is in the Shyam Nagar area. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood compared to the main roads, which makes it a nice place to work. The office is basically a few rooms in a residential-style building. We have boxes stacked up in the hallways and sometimes even in the small yard outside if a big shipment just came in. Our desks are old wooden ones that have seen a lot of use over the years. There’s always a pile of shipping documents and manifests that need to be sorted through. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to different people and trying to coordinate things. It’s not a high-tech operation; we still use a lot of paper and keep handwritten notes for most things. When visitors come by, we usually just offer them a plastic chair and some water from the dispenser in the corner. The neighborhood is mostly houses, so we try not to make too much noise when we are loading or unloading the vans. Sometimes the stray dogs sleep under the shade of our porch during the afternoon. We’ve been in Shyam Nagar long enough that everyone knows us as the people who are always moving boxes around. It’s a simple business, nothing more and nothing less, just working out of Bahubali Path every day to keep things moving.
