Kasu Architects

We’ve been here in Jhotwara for a bit now. Our office is at number 84. It's not a huge place, just where we sit down and look at floor plans or talk to folks about their houses. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the paper rolls and coffee mugs lying around. We spend most of our time drawing things out on the computer or just sketching on whatever is handy. It's mostly just us working through how to make a room feel right without overcomplicating things. People stop by when they want to build something new or if they're stuck on a renovation project. We don't really do big fancy speeches or anything. It's just about getting the measurements right and making sure the walls go where they should. Jhotwara is a busy area, so we stay pretty occupied with local projects. Sometimes we’re out at a site checking on the bricks and other times we’re just here staring at a screen. It’s practical work. We try to keep it simple. If someone needs a plan, we draw it up. It takes time, of course. Architecture isn't something you rush. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything lines up. It's a job we like doing. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our spot here. That's pretty much how it goes for us most days.
