Kartarpura Hospital & Maternity Centre is right at 117-A Saini Colony Crossing. If you live around here, you’ve probably passed by it a hundred times. We have been running things here for a long time. It’s not a big corporate building, just a local place where we handle births and general health stuff. The maternity wing stays pretty busy, which keeps us on our toes. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space, but we make it work with what we have. Most people just walk over from the neighborhood. The traffic at the crossing can be a mess in the mornings, so we usually hear the horns from inside. We don't have fancy receptionists in suits or anything like that. Just us in our scrubs trying to keep the paperwork straight. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we'd rather focus on the patients than the decor. It gets a bit noisy during the day with families coming and going. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s just how it is in a small community hospital.
