Kanodia Hospital

The hospital is tucked away on Hans Marg in Malviya Nagar. It’s at C/256. If you know the area, it's pretty residential around here, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We have been here for a good amount of time. The rooms are basic, and we don't have those big flashy signs you see on the new buildings. Most of the work involves just keeping up with the daily flow of people coming in for checkups. The hallway is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when moving equipment around. We have a few benches outside for when it gets crowded inside. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat in the back room when there’s a break. It's a lot of routine work, checking files and making sure the supplies are stocked. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we have a backup that usually kicks in. Malviya Nagar has changed a lot since we started, with more shops opening up nearby. We see a lot of the same families coming back over the years. It’s just a standard hospital setup. We keep the floors scrubbed and the windows shut to keep the dust out from the street. It’s our second home really, considering how many hours we spend here every week. The neighborhood knows us well by now and people just walk in when they need something looked at. It is a plain, working building.
