Kaneria Tiels

We are out in Bhanpur Kalan, which is a bit of a drive through Amer if you’re coming from the main part of Jaipur. Kaneria Tiels has been sitting here in this village area for a while. Being in Rajasthan, the weather is often dry, which is actually alright for storing tiles. Our address is easy enough to find if you follow the road toward Vpo-Bhanpur Kalan. We don't have a big polished showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical yard where we keep the stock and a small office where we do the billing. People come to us when they are building houses in the nearby villages or over in the city. We spend our days moving crates and checking for cracks. It’s physical work and your hands get rough doing it. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed though. We know most of our neighbors and the guys who drive the transport rigs. We don’t bother with big ads or anything like that. Word usually gets around through the local builders. We just focus on keeping enough stock so that when someone shows up, we have what they need. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us out here. Sometimes we have to wait a bit for new stock to arrive from the factories, but we keep busy anyway and just get on with it.
