Our place is in Jetpura, specifically in Udyog Vihar at G-125 and 127. It's a big enough space for what we do, which is mostly casting work. It’s hot in there, especially when the furnaces are running. You get used to the heat after a while, but the summers are still pretty rough. We deal with a lot of molten metal and molds. It’s a messy process, lots of sand and dust everywhere. We aren't much for sitting around. There is always a mold to prep or a casting to clean up. We started small and just kept going at this address. The neighborhood is mostly other factories and workshops, so nobody minds the noise we make. We have a solid group of guys who have been doing this for years. They know the rhythm of the pour. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us because they need something cast and someone told them we were here. We keep the paperwork to a minimum and focus on the shop floor. It's not a place for clean clothes or soft hands. By the end of the shift, everyone is covered in something. We just wash up and come back the next morning. It’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it right here in Jetpura for a good stretch of time now. We just handle the metal and the heat as best as we can. It's hard work, but it's ours.
