Kabra Eye Hospital

Started at Jamna Nager in Sodala quite a while back. The area has changed some over the years, but our building stays mostly the same. People come in because they have something stuck in their eye or their vision isn't what it used to be. It’s just how it goes here. We have some benches for waiting and the lighting is okay, maybe a bit dim in the corners. Kabra Eye Hospital isn't one of those big glass malls. It’s just a place in the neighborhood. Usually, the morning is quiet and then around four o'clock everyone shows up at once. It gets a bit hectic then, with people talking and the fans humming. We try to keep the files organized but sometimes things get a little messy on the desk. That’s just life in a busy office, I guess. We see kids who need glasses for school and older folks who have been coming to this same spot for years. The street outside, Jamna Nager, can be a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We just keep the doors shut and keep working through the list of names. It’s a simple routine. We don't have any fancy coffee machines or anything like that, just a water cooler in the corner. People seem fine with that. It’s just a regular part of Sodala and we are here every day except Sundays.
