If you head down Ajmer Road in Sodala, you’ll find us near the Jamna Dairy landmark. That’s where Kabra Eye Hospital and Phaco Surgery Centre is located. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always a lot of movement outside our front doors. We’ve got the hospital set up to handle more than just eye exams; we do surgeries here too, especially the phaco ones that people often need as they get older. The surgery room is kept very clean and organized, while the front area is where everyone gathers to wait their turn. We have a lot of people coming in from all over Sodala and the surrounding parts of the city because we’ve been here for a good amount of time. The waiting room chairs are usually full by mid-morning, and the staff is busy sorting out the files and checking people in. We don’t have any polished corporate speeches to give. We just explain what’s going to happen with the surgery or the treatment in plain English so people don’t get confused. Sometimes the wait can be a little long when we have a lot of procedures scheduled, but we try to keep things moving as best as we can. Being near the dairy means there’s always a landmark for people who are coming from further away. It’s a practical, hardworking place focused on getting people’s vision sorted out.
