If you walk down Johari Bazaar and find Msb Ka Rasta, you’ll see our shop at number 3815. It’s been our home for a good long time. This part of Jaipur is always crowded, full of noise and the smell of the market, which we’ve grown to love. K. C. Dhadda & Co. is really just a group of us working in the heart of the jewelry district. We spend most of our time at the counters or in the back, looking at stones and talking to customers who wander in. It isn't a massive showroom with bright lights and fancy carpets. It’s more of a traditional setup where we know the neighbors and the tea seller comes by twice a day. We deal with the usual things you’d expect in this part of town. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty and the traffic outside is a nightmare, but that is Johari Bazaar for you. We focus on the work itself rather than having a flashy storefront. Most of our clients have been coming to us for years, and now their kids come too. It’s nice to have that kind of history. We don’t really bother with big marketing campaigns or anything. We just open the shutters in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes we have a lot of stock, sometimes we are waiting on a delivery. It's a steady life in a busy place.
