Our place is situated right at Badi Chaupar, specifically at the address C-VII/145. It is a very busy part of the city. If you know this area at all, you know how crowded it gets with all the traffic and people moving around from morning until night. We deal mostly with motor parts and various mechanical components. Most of the time, our day is spent checking the inventory or talking to local mechanics who are looking for a very specific bit for a car repair. It involves a lot of paperwork and moving heavy boxes around the storeroom. The building itself has been standing here for many years. People come in looking for something quite specific, maybe a part for an older engine that is hard to find elsewhere or just a simple new oil filter. We spend most of our morning hours opening up wooden crates and sorting through the stock. It is definitely not a quiet job. The constant noise from the street outside comes right through the doors. We have been part of the motor agency scene for a long time, even though this particular branch is located here. We try our best to keep all the shelves organized, but it is a challenge when so many different items are moving in and out every day. If we do not have a part in stock, we spend time on the phone figuring out when the next delivery is coming. There is not much space for sitting down. Usually, there is some grease on someone's hands or dust on the jackets.
