Our office is located at H No 1703 on the first floor of a building called Hari Niwas. We are right in Shyamsundar ji jadiyo ka rasta. If you aren't familiar with Jaipur’s old city, these "rastas" are narrow lanes that have been around for a very long time. It can be a bit of a maze if you are visiting for the first time. Jrb Exim Private Limited operates from here. We aren't a corporate firm with a big HR department or a glass boardroom. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is always full of activity. We deal with exports, which means a lot of our work involves talking to people in different time zones and keeping track of cargo. The office is often filled with the smell of tea and the sound of someone typing away. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just focus on getting the orders right. The building is old, and sometimes the plumbing or the lights act up, but we just deal with it. It’s a very traditional way of working in a very traditional part of town. We are just regular people trying to make a living and keeping the business running as best as we can.
